This is fast becoming a place where I share one of my favourite hobbies: reading.

I’ve always loved reading books and recently I’ve been reading more Christian books alongside my fiction books. Reading two books at once is a way to read more, and great Christian books allow us to draw nearer to Christ.

The book for September is What Happens When Women Say Yes To God by Lysa Terkeurst

I have started the book already and it is definitely one that needs to be read multiple time! So far, Lysa has spoken about the importance of obedience to the Lord despite what we may feel in life. She walks through the way in which we can hold Jesus first in all things and be really serious about walking through life saying ‘Yes’ to God.

For any woman who wants to walk in a life of radical obedience to Christ, having the boldness to say ‘Yes’ even when it seems daunting, this is a book that gently guides you through.
