Confidence Rooted In Christ

This is a quote from an interview she did recently which also touched on marriage and her waiting for a husband. She spoke about her confidence in Christ and how sure she was that God would allow her to get married in the timing that He had for her to do so.

There’s something to learn here! The beauty of being able to wait on the Lord and understand that God, in His infinite wisdom, can cause anything to happen in His timing. We often have our own timelines and plans, but it is the Lord’s plan which prevails. He is worthy of all of the honour and the praise. He is greater than anything we could ever receive. He is perfect in all of His ways AND His timing is perfect.

There is a beauty in saying, “Lord, this is my request… but I trust that when You know it’s the right time for me to have it, if it is according to Your will, then You will gift it to me.” Rest, be still & know that He is God! He knows the end from the beginning and His word will never fail.

A confidence that is rooted in Christ is the best type of confidence.
