Obedience (2)

There was a short break on Streams of Beauty (albeit that we continued to post on Instagram stories). It felt like time to go into the quiet and just wait. The time has come now to be released into come back and continue writing on here, enjoying those precious moments sharing about the beauty of walking with Christ.

We read in the Word of God that ‘to obery is better than sacrifice’ (1 Samuel 15:22). That knowledge shows us that there is a joy that comes with walking in obedience to the Lord, there is only good that can come from it. Obedience might mean we enter into some seasons where life feels difficult; however, there is a peace in knowing that the path you are on, is one that has been laid out by the Lord, specifically designed with you in mind. There is a peace because we know that ALL things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.

Obedience reminds us that our purpose and destiny in life is very little to do with us, and everything to do with bringing glory to the Lord.

So, I encourage you to trust that the Lord can take care of you as you walk in the path He called you to. Spend time praying and listening as He guides you. What a delight it is to serve the Lord and walk out His beautiful, perfect plan.
